BSidesTLV 2026 — Organizing Team
June 25, 2026 · Tel Aviv
BSidesTLV is a community-driven cybersecurity conference in Tel Aviv — built by volunteers and powered by curiosity, hands-on learning, and real connections. We're part of the global BSides spirit: independent, accessible, and community-first.
We are community-first and operate under a Code of Conduct.
We are regrouping to build a strong, committed, and accountable team for BSidesTLV 2026.
We're upgrading how we operate: clearer ownership, better processes, stronger community — without burnout.
How the organizing team works
This is not a job — it's a volunteer community leadership team.
We run BSidesTLV with an Owner + Backup model:
  • Each domain has an Owner (accountable end-to-end)
  • Each domain has a Backup/Deputy (so nothing depends on one person)
  • We prefer steady weekly progress over last-minute heroics
Time expectation: typically ~1–3 hours/week on average, higher during peak weeks closer to the event.
What we mean by 'ownership'
Ownership means:
  • defining the plan for your domain
  • executing consistently
  • communicating blockers early
  • coordinating with other domains
  • delivering what we promised (to attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers)
Ownership is responsibility for outcomes — not doing everything alone.
